Sure it seemed like Madison had actually started being good and eating well and getting better, but that was only half true. Madison wasn't getting better, if anything she hadn't even changed. Right now she was laying in her bed looking around her room. Yeah she had finally gotten her own room out side of the pediatrics unit and she had added her own twists to make it a little more homey since she was going to be spending a lot of time in it. Band posters and pictures scattered the walls, the floor was clean of clothes but a few pairs of converse lined the bottom of her bed waiting to be put on. 2 black dressers that were small were shoved against the wall between the bed and the window. It was a semi nice view but it could be better. She didn't have any iv's in her today nor did she have any oxygen or anything. She just wasn't having troubles, except for the fact that her chest and head were both throbbing in pain. Ignoring it she rolled her eyes flicking a brown strand of hair back as a nurse walked in and set a tray of food down on her lap and took a seat next to her bed watching her eat it.
This was one of the things that sucked. She couldn't eat with out being watched during and for an hour after words to make sure that she wouldn't throw it up and some one was constantly checking on her. A little trust here people? Finally she finished scarfing down the grilled cheese sandwich, bread sticks and salad she had to force her self not to throw up right then and there. She hated cheese and she didn't know how many times she had to tell the nurses that. Finally the waiting period was up and she glanced down at the omnipod on her hip. She had been trusted enough to give her self her insulin when ever it was needed but she may have forgotten once or twice to do it. Ignoring the dangerously low numbers she pretended to be asleep waiting for the perfect time. But for some reason she just wasn't feeling right. Her stomach was twisting and it felt like some one was tearing it to shreds, her head felt 30 times bigger then it should and she kept having random chest pains.
Glancing up at the clock she looked around noticing that it was midnight exactly, she had timed everything perfectly. The nurses weren't walking by at this exact moment and she usually used this moment to go to the bathroom and throw up her contents for the day. She knew something was different when she stood up and felt her vision blur and her head spin even more. Clutching her way to the bathroom she stumbled in and fell to her knees in front of the toilet. Usually she had to make her self throw up but today it all just came on its own. Looking down she noticed a large amount of blood had come up with it. Well this cant be good. Pulling her self up to try and make it to her bed and lay down she felt her heart speed up and she collapsed hitting the floor in the door way with a loud thud. Her breathing had stopped and she was totally limp. She couldn't remember the last time she had went into cardiac arrest. She wasn't dead thankfuly...well not yet at least. [/blockquote]
